1. What is her disorder?
    1. Suzie has Agoraphobia which is characterized by anxiety about being in places or situations from which escape might be difficult or embarrassing if a panic attack or panic-like symptoms were to occur.
  2. How do you know?
    1. We can tell that Suzie has Agoraphobia because she gets the feeling of anxiety when surrounded by crowds or places from where escape is difficult.
  3. Treatment?
    1. To treat this disorder, we would slowly and gradually introduce her to crowds. We can start by putting her in a room and gradually add more and more people with her husband with her in her room (Exposure Therapy). Eventually, we will leave her alone and soon introduce her to natural environments such as stores and move up the population level by moving her to a mall.
